Working with Mistral AI, France Travail is leading the way in assisting job seekers in finding suitable employment opportunities with the help of Mistral AI models, enabling them to summarize job seekers’ histories, profiles, and areas of interest. Additionally, an internal chatbot helps agents better access and understand labor laws and allocation policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

With the help of Mistral AI, HTX is fine tuning pretrained models and also building their own series of LLMs, codenamed Phoenix. Phoenix has been pre-trained on extensive corpuses of knowledge specific and relevant to the Home Team and Singapore, as well as 10 major languages spoken in Singapore, including Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and Tamil. This will allow Home Team officers to get more accurate responses compared to other kinds of LLMs.

MINDEF, Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), and DSO National Laboratories (DSO) partner with Mistral AI to co-develop generative AI models to augment the SAF’s decision support capabilities in areas such as mission planning. The collaboration focuses on fine-tuned Mistral models and developing new mixture-of-experts (MoE) models, with support from AI Singapore for the local operating context.

Through its AI agency AMIAD, the French Minister of Defense and Mistral AI are collaborating on advanced research themes such as multimodal models, robotics, automation, and embedded systems. It also includes the industrialization of key products for French defense, ensuring France's technological independence.
