Frontier AI infrastructure for everyone.

Mistral Compute is a new AI infrastructure offering that will provide customers a private, integrated stack—GPUs, orchestration, APIs, products, and services in whatever form factor they need, from bare-metal servers to fully-managed PaaS. It is an unprecedented AI infrastructure undertaking in Europe, and a strategic initiative that will ensure that all nation states, enterprises, and research labs globally remain at the forefront of AI innovation.

The genesis of Mistral Compute was organic. At Mistral AI, we faced our fair share of challenges training models and building state-of-the-art AI products. GPU hardware is expensive and scarce, tooling is patchy, and securing critical workloads is difficult. We learned hard lessons along the way, but eventually managed to build a robust AI platform on which we trained many state of the art models that today serve millions of users. And now, we’re unleashing its power for anyone to build on.

Mistral Compute empowers sovereigns, companies, and research institutions to completely reimagine the way they build their AI stack. What used to be a choice between a few third party cloud providers is now the right to build your AI environment to your spec, and own it top to bottom. The offering will include Mistral AI’s training suite that can accelerate region and domain-specific AI efforts across nation and industry-wide endeavors such as defense technology, pharmaceutical discovery, financial markets, and more.

Customers can use Mistral Compute to train and serve any AI workload they imagine. It is being developed and managed by a team with decades of experience building state of the art AI and high-performance compute (HPC) infrastructure, and training and serving the world’s best AI models. 

As a premier NVIDIA partner, Mistral Compute will offer the latest NVIDIA reference architectures, with availability of tens of thousands of GPUs, and rapid expansion in the coming years.

Critically, Mistral Compute aims to provide a competitive edge to entire industries and countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the entire Southern Hemisphere that have been waiting for an alternative to US or China-based cloud and AI providers. This applies equally to the global entities of US or Chinese companies that want to serve international customers, particularly in Europe, with AI that is operating and running regionally.
